Human Robot Interaction

We are conducting research to improve robustness by integrating robot audition technology with other elemental technologies and further to apply these technologies to human-robot interaction/communication.

 

For example, we are conducting research and development on “a robot that listens to music and adaptively interacts with humans,” “a robot that can distinguish surrounding sound environments while suppressing self-motion noise created by itself,” “a robot that can keep on talking even when spoken to by a user while the robot itself is talking,” and so on.
